We’re looking for a Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to join our expanding rail team, delivering key enhancement works across the Edinburgh to Fife corridor in Scotland.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading teams and coordinating works across a variety of rail and civil engineering disciplines.
Working within a live rail environment, you’ll play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while supporting and developing the people around you.
Projects include bridges, earthworks, civils, and station/property upgrades, offering a varied and engaging workload.

Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating and supporting site teams, including engineers, supervisors and subcontract partners
- Creating a positive, inclusive and safety-first site culture
- Planning and coordinating works to meet programme and commercial targets
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Reviewing drawings and technical information to guide delivery
- Overseeing essential documentation, including:
- Risk Assessments
- Work Package Plans
- Inspection & Test Plans
- Task Briefings / Safe Work Packs
- Monitoring progress, managing change and ensuring effective communication across the project
- Mentoring and developing junior staff, helping others grow in their careers
Experience in the following is valued:
- Rail infrastructure and live operational environments
- Civil engineering, including bridges, earthworks and stations/property
- Managing and supervising site-based teams
- Interpreting drawings, specifications and programme requirements

Qualifications
- CSCS Card
- Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- SMSTS
- PTS
Desirable:
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
