Contracts Manager - Fit-Out

Job description
Our client is a well-known and highly established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality large-scale fit-out projects throughout Scotland. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple fit-out projects from pre-construction through to handover. This is a senior role requiring strong commercial awareness, leadership capability, and a proven background in delivering complex interior fit-out schemes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee multiple large fit-out projects concurrently
- Take full ownership of project delivery, from contract award to final account
- Lead and coordinate Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, company procedures, and industry standards
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Monitor programme, cost control, and commercial performance
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve any issues efficiently
- Attend progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management

Requirements

- Proven experience operating as a Contracts Manager on large-scale fit-out projects
- Strong background in commercial and/or high-end interior fit-out works
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
