We are a leading provider of compliance and energy services across the UK, is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious professional to join us as the Group Head of Fleet. This prestigious role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence and efficiency of our fleet management across all our subsidiaries, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients while maximising sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
Role Overview:
As the Group Head of Fleet, you will be at the forefront of our operational logistics, responsible for overseeing the management of our extensive fleet across the UK. You will lead the fleet management strategy, integrating the latest technologies and environmental practices to drive performance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet management strategy, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Lead on sustainability initiatives to minimise the environmental impact of our fleet operations.
• Manage fleet-related budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the fleet meets operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company standards and policies.
• Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the fleet management team.
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience in a senior fleet management role, ideally within a multi-site operation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Extensive knowledge of fleet management best practices, including sustainability and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and reducing costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence.
